CIBUS-M

Slug Control

The objective of this trial was to determine the efficacy of two molluscicides for slug control. Trial was conducted by staff from the Unidad Integrada Balcarce (Universidad de Agronomía- Agencia Nacional de Investigación, Balcarce, Argentina. As Results proved that CIBUS-M showed the highest control efficiency.

Results

CIBUS-M showed better control than the other product at all tested doses.

CIBUS-M

Slug control in soybean crops.

This trial was conducted to assess slug control efficacy of CIBUS-M and three other commercial products on soybean crops. Two doses of each product and a control treatment were used. Assessment 7 days after treatment showed that application of 5kg/ha of CIBUS-M yielded the best results.

Results

Assessment conducted 7 days after the application of the products revealed that CIBUS-M yielded the best results, achieving 100% control efficiency.

CIBUS-BB

Pill Bug Control.

A field trial was conducted to evaluate pill bug control effectiveness of CIBUS-BB and another commercial bait. Results determined that CIBUS-BB showed superior (over %85) control, achieving over 85% control.

CIBUS-BB

Pill Bug Control.

A field trial was conducted to evaluate pill bug control effectiveness of CIBUS-BB and another commercial bait. Results determined that CIBUS-BB showed superior (over %85) control, achieving over 85% control.

Results

Initial average count of pill bugs (Armadillidium vulgare) in the trial area was 100 BB/m2. This moment was identified as day 0 from application (DFA). First assessment 6 days after application revealed a significant difference between bait treatments and the control. Both products showed good control levels, but CIBUS-BB achieved a control efficiency of 67%, superior to the other tested product whose control efficacy was 54%. Assessment 12 days after application evidenced increased control levels, with CIBUS-BB managing higher values in comparison to the other commercial bait. This trial helped prove that use of CIBUS-BB resulted in very effective pill bug control. These values were superior to those obtained with another commercially available product.

GRADIX

Wheat growth promotion

Trial conducted to assess the growth promotion effect of GRADIX in wheat crops. GRADIX was used in different combinations with a phosphorus source at sowing, reporting a very positive effect on the combined response.

GRADIX

Wheat growth promotion

Trial conducted to assess the growth promotion effect of GRADIX in wheat crops. GRADIX was used in different combinations with a phosphorus source at sowing, reporting a very positive effect on the combined response.

Application of Gradix resulted in a 14% yield increase compared to the control group. Also, Gradix application combined with conventional fertilizer treatment produced an additional 5% yield increase compared to the application of regular phosphorus fertilizer at sowing. These results indicate both a significant growth promotion effect of Gradix, and an enhancing effect on traditional chemical fertilizers.
