FAQs

Does Gradix replace fertiliser?

GRADIX does not replace fertiliser; it is a complement that enhances the response to fertilisation. It incorporates a specific strain of the fungus Trichoderma, selected for its excellent growth-promoting properties, such as the solubilisation of phosphate compounds. When applied together with phosphate fertilisers, it improves the crop’s absorption of this nutrient.

How is it applied, especially in large areas and in the furrow?

The purpose of GRADIX is to position the active agent (Trichoderma) as close as possible to the crop roots. To maximise efficiency, it is important to apply it in the planting furrow, near the seeds. This can be done by mixing GRADIX directly with the seeds or with phosphate fertiliser.

What is it used for?

GRADIX is a biological growth promoter that stimulates crops and improves their overall health, enabling higher yields.

How does it work?

The BIOMATRIX technology of GRADIX enhances the viability of the biological agent, allowing it to act effectively on the crop. GRADIX facilitates the solubilisation of phosphate compounds in the soil, protects against pathogens, and secretes substances that promote growth.

Does seed treatment affect its effectiveness?

No, thanks to the protection offered by BIOMATRIX, the microorganism is shielded from external factors that could affect its survival.

Does it stratify when mixed with fertiliser?

No, numerous evaluations have confirmed that GRADIX does not separate into phases when mixed with phosphate fertiliser.

How long does the product last in storage?

The product has a shelf life of 18 months.
